Sikap Buhay Entrepreneurship & Cooperative Office
The Sikap Buhay Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Office or SB ECO is a component of the Executive branch of the Quezon City Government mandated to lift the quality of life of the City's underprivileged informal dwellers through the expansion and improvement of new businesses and creation of new entrepreneurs.
The Office traces its roots to the City's Task Force SMILE which was established in 1992; and then re-established as Task Force Sikap Buhay under EO No. 1 in 2002. It prescribed the following three-pronged program strategy:
To support the growth and development of single enterprises, community-based group enterprises and cooperatives operating in the city as part of either the informal and formal economies, Sikap Buhay implements activities in the following four (4) program-customers:
